Dear Freya,
I just wanted to write to you and thank you so much for writing all of your guides. I play every Harvest Moon game I can get my hands on, which include older games like: Harvest Moon GBC, Harvest Moon GBC 3, Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town, ect. I also play medium-new games such as: Harvest Moon Magical Melody, Harvest Moon Another Wonderful Life, HM DS, ect. I can also name a few HM games I own that are newer: IoH, Sunshine Islands, Rune Factory 2, Tree of Tranquility, ect. Every HM game that comes into my possession, is almost IMPOSSIBLE for me alone to... beat, as it were (even though you can't really "beat" HM games). So, your guides have actually MADE my HM experiences fun. Without them, I would have given up on HM a LONG time ago (when I bought my first one, MFoMT, actually, or my favorite one, AWL) but now I can kind of consider myself a "veteran" to HM. It's so great to be able to buy games and actually know how to play them, and make full use of them. I think your guides have done that for me. Thanks so much and keep up the good work!

Response from Freyashawk: Thank you for writing. I daresay few people realise how much messages like this mean to me. Writing guides can be fun sometimes but most of the time it is rather tedious labour, copying lists from Shop Menus and so on. It makes it worthwhile to know that the work is appreciated.

I just wanted to tell you that your guide you posted for HMSI is incredible. I didn't have much luck finding any real data anywhere else for it on the internet, and what I found was not nearly as complete or thorough.

My girlfriend mentioned the Harvest Moon series and I picked SI up just for a change of pace. I was concerned that, upon first playing the game for a day, that it was too shallow and simple for me to enjoy (I usually only enjoy extremely deep, complex, and long running games). After browsing your gargantuan guide I can see I will enjoy this game for some time to come.
So thank you. Thank you for making me realize the depth of this game (oh the cooking! Im a cooking addict in nearly any game), and thank you for your diligent and hard work on the guide.

Ok well, this isn't really a question but I kinda wanted to thank you for all of your guides. They really help me and I got a new Harvest Moon game and it is awesome!!! I really LOVE Harvest moon games. Really I love them as much as mabey I mean I don't make awesome guides like you do I mean I don't eat the games super fast and blog about it cause I don't have enough info. about them. Well I'm not gonna waste your time anymore but I do wanna say thanks. I don't think I could have gotten the blue or the yellow bell in AP and I wouldn't have been able to get married to wizard(=HOT) or married Candace in ToT. So thank you!!! You give such an indepth explanation and explain characters and just everything is perfect! If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have married anyone on Harvest Moon More Friends of Mineral Town let alone married on both files! And I want to marry all of them, definitely using your guide to do so! I'm using your guide for my Harvest Moon DS now and I will use it when I get Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town again! Hi I'm Ralph, and I've been a major Harvest moon fan since it's beginning days in Super Nintendo :D

I was pretty young though back then, and as you grow older you don't keep up with the things that you adored when you were younger. It was always Mario and Harvest Moon for me. haha

I've been on and off with the series and I've only recently just started playing again with Harvest Moon Island Of Happiness, and I am amazed by all of your walkthroughs! I've use them plenty of times when I'm in trouble, and I only wish that I had more time to be able to keep up and play the series as well because I use to be a crazy Harvest Moon fan.

Anyways, just saying thanks for taking time for your walkthroughs and guides and blogs, they're amazing!
